The Abdominal Imaging Division at the University of Arizona Banner University Medical Center Tucson provides expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of abdominal and pelvic disease. Our Body MR imaging specialization is the unique strength providing the foundation for our excellent clinical service.
We provide clinical services to the leading Level 1 Trauma Center in southern Arizona, Banner - University Medical Center Tucson (BUMCT), Diamond Children's Medical Center, the University of Arizona Cancer Center, Banner - University Medical Center South (BUMC-S), Banner - University Medical North (BUMCN), and a variety of community sites throughout Arizona.
Our division is driven by advanced imaging diagnostics, with state-of-the-art MRI, CT and ultrasound imaging systems. Our practice is founded upon translational research and education, covering a full array of disease processes. We are interdisciplinary with active conferencing with other key specialties, including transplantation and oncology. The clinical case load serves as an excellent resource for our training programs, which include a Diagnostic Radiology residency and a fellowship training program in advanced Abdominal Imaging.
