Tyson Steven Chadaz, MD

Tyson Chadaz, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medical Imaging at the University of Arizona. He currently serves as Interim Chief of the Musculoskeletal Imaging Division.

Dr. Chadaz earned his Medical Degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC. He went on to complete his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center.  While there, Dr. Chadaz completed 4th year mini-fellowship training in breast, neuroradiology and musculoskeletal imaging. Dr. Chadaz then completed his Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship at the University of Arizona and Banner-University Medical Center Tucson.

Dr. Chadaz is board certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology. His research interests include musculoskeletal infection, traumatic and sports related musculoskeletal injuries, and physician/resident well-being.

Dr. Chadaz is the Associate Director of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program and founded the Department of Medical Imaging Wellness Committee. 

When he is not working, Dr. Chadaz enjoys spending time with his family. His hobbies include hiking/backpacking, skiing, skateboarding, running, and playing guitar.
