Paola Devis, MD

Assistant Professor, Medical Imaging - (Clinical Scholar Track)

Paola Devis, MD, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Imaging. Dr. Devis is board certified in radiology and fellowship trained in vascular and interventional radiology with a Certificate of Acquired Qualification (CAQ) in interventional radiology.

Her areas of clinical interest and research include minimally invasive treatments for cancer, such as chemoembolization, immunoembolization  and percutaneous tumor ablation. Other areas of expertise include liver and biliary interventions, uterine fibroids, varicose veins and genitourinary interventions.

Dr. Devis is an active member of the Radiographic Society of North America, American College of Radiology, Society of Interventional Radiology and the American Medical Association.

A native of Colombia, Dr. Devis completed medical school at Universidad del Rosario in Bogota, and completed her Internship and Diagnostic Radiology Residency at St. Francis Hospital, in Evanston, IL. She then completed a fellowship in the subspecialty of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of California, San Diego. Previous experience includes a position as Interventional Radiologist at the Veterans Health Administration, West Palm Beach, FL.

Dr. Devis is fluent in English and Spanish.
