John McArthur, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medical Imaging at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and Banner University Medical Center. He serves as faculty member in the Abdominal Division of the Department of Medical Imaging.

After earning his Doctor of Medicine degree at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Dr. McArthur completed his Diagnostic Residency at the David Grand Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base, California. While serving in the Air Force, Dr. McArthur was named Chief of Diagnostic Imaging, Chief of Cross-Sectional Imaging and Chief of Mammography. Dr. McArthur retired from the United States Air Force having attained the rank of Colonel.

Dr. McArthur is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology, and the American Roentgen Ray Society.
