The University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson Department of Medical Imaging would like to congratulate Geoffrey Rubin, MD, MBA for being named as the recipient of the Association of University Radiologists 2024 Gold Medal. The AUR Gold Medal is awarded in recognition of unusually distinguished service or contributions to the Association of University Radiologists, academic radiology, or the field of radiology in general.
Dr. Rubin accepted the award in person during the 72nd Annual Meeting of the Association of University of Radiologists held April 2-5 in Boston, Massachusetts.
Former Department of Radiology Founding Chair M. Paul Capp, MD, was awarded the AUR Gold Medal in 1988 and former faculty member Lee F. Rogers, MD was awarded the honor in 2000. See a list of the AUR Gold Medal honorees.
