Message from the Department Chair

Welcome to the Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Arizona.  We collaborate closely with the other clinical and scientific departments across the College of Medicine, Health Sciences Colleges and the University of Arizona.  Our mission, goals and objectives are aligned with the University of Arizona and the Health Sciences academic initiatives put forth by our University leadership and with the clinical values of Banner University Medicine.

First Place Winners - 2019 GME Scholarly Day

Many congratulations to our Residents who won first prize at the 2019 Jeanne Deinert GME Scholarly Day Showcase. Dr. Shahad Al Bayati placed first for Resident Clinical Poster entitled, "The Outcomes of Simulation in Resident Breast Imaging Breast Bipsy Techniques" and Dr. Michael Craig Larson placed first for Resident Research Poster entitled, “Towards Optical Biopsies: Developing an Optical Biopsy ‘Stain’”.
