Charles Hennemeyer, MD

Charles Hennemeyer, MD, is an Associate Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and Banner University Medical Center. He serves as Chief of the Emergency Radiology Division in the Department of Medical Imaging.

After earning his Doctor of Medicine degree at the Saint Louis University Medical School and completing an Internal Medicine Internship at Saint Louis University, Dr. Hennemeyer proceeded to complete his Diagnostic Radiology Residency and an Interventional Radiology Fellowship at the University of Southern California – Los Angeles.

Prior to accepting the position of Chief, Emergency Radiology, Dr. Hennemeyer served as Chief of the Interventional Radiology Division for ten years and led the Interventional Radiology Residency Program as Director. Dr. Hennemeyer commonly receives praise from grateful patients thanking him for the expert and compassionate treatment he provides. 

Aside from providing outstanding clinical care, Dr. Hennemeyer is passionate about mechanical engineering and design improvement. In 2016, Dr. Hennemeyer co-founded D3Sciences Inc. (Data Driven Diagnostic Sciences), a medical device start-up company for which he also serves as Chief Technology Officer. D3Sciences is responsible for developing novel ways to improve genetic and molecular testing with large tissue biopsy sample acquisition.

In 2018, with a motivation for improving the patient experience, Dr. Hennemeyer founded and serves as CEO of Radiology Second Opinion Inc. The consulting and legal firm is dedicated to making the patient the customer by employing a Patient-Centric service model.
