Hasan Ozgur, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Imaging. He is the interim Chief of the Neuroradiology Division.
Dr. Ozgur earned his medical degree from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara, Turkey. He completed both a Diagnostic Radiology Residency and a Neuroradiology Fellowship at the University of Arizona.
After Fellowship, Dr. Ozgur joined a private radiology group in Washington where he quickly advanced and became partner. Adept at providing care both in-hospital and in outpatient settings, Dr. Ozgur brings experience in both diagnostic and interventional radiology. Dr. Ozgur successfully treated patients with spinal pain by providing minimally invasive spinal interventions. Additionally, he played a key role in the group’s outpatient imaging center, which is still operational and successfully serving the local community.
Dr. Ozgur has served on numerous committees in various capacities including chairman and vice chairman of Department of Radiology/Pathology, Medical Executive committee, Bylaws committee, Surgical QI/PI committee and Medical QI/PI committee. He considers it a privilege to be a member of the faculty at the University of Arizona. Moreover, Dr. Ozgur is very enthusiastic about being an educator and sharing his expertise with the Residents, Fellows and Medical Students.
Dr. Ozgur is a Senior Member of the American Society of Neuroradiology and a member of the American College of Radiology, the Turkish Radiology Society and the Turkish Medical Imaging Society.
