The Medical Imaging Division of Nuclear Medicine announces an official name change to the Division of Nuclear Medicine and Theranostics. The addition of "Theranostics" to Nuclear Medicine aims to capture the comprehensive radiopharmaceutical oncological therapies we provide to our patients as part of the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson and Banner-University Medical Center.
While our name has changed, our mission of providing the finest precision therapeutics and diagnostics to our patients continues to be our top priority.
Our division will continue to work with patients, their families, expert physicians, technologists, radiation safety specialists, nurses, and physicists to provide the most innovative and personalized treatments to improve patient outcomes.
