Daniel W. Lee, MD, Neurointerventional Radiologist

The University of Arizona Department of Medical Imaging at the College of Medicine –Tucson, and Banner University Medical Center—Tucson is pleased to welcome our newest faculty member, Daniel W. Lee, MD.

Dr. Lee is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Imaging specializing in Neurointerventional Radiology.

Raised in Hawaii, Dr. Lee began his medical career by earning his Doctor of Medicine at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Lee completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency and a Fellowship in Neurointerventional Radiology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine in 2007.

Dr. Lee is Specialty Board Certified in Radiology and Subspecialty Board Certified in Neuroradiology and Neurointerventional Surgery by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).

Dr. Lee’s clinical repertoire and interests include the diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of stroke, intracranial aneurysms, subdural hematomas, brain and peripheral AVMs, low flow vascular malformations, spinal compression fractures, and various ENT pathologies such as epistaxis.

Dr. Lee is a member of the Radiological Society of North America and a senior member of the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery.

When he is not working, Dr. Lee is a self-described sports fanatic. He particularly enjoys baseball both as a player and as a spectator.
