Dr. Reid completed medical training in her home country, Canada, before moving to the U.S. to complete a fellowship in pediatric radiology at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Reid served as section head of pediatric radiology at the Cleveland Clinic where she grew a full-service program and launched the first of its kind open-source online curriculum in pediatric radiology.

In 2012, she was recruited to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where she holds the Patricia Borns Endowed Chair in Radiology Education. As vice-chair of education, professor of radiology at the University of Pennsylvania, and recent graduate of UPenn’s Master of Medical Education program, Dr. Reid is building the first radiology adaptive learning program using a knowledge engine and machine learning algorithms to support the next generation of master pediatric radiologists.
