Dr. Elizabeth Krupinski, Ph.D., Professor of Medical Imaging, Psychology and Public Health at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center is one of the recipients of The Academy of Radiology Research 2014 Distinguished Investigator Award.
Dr. Krupinski was one of only 46 researchers nationwide awarded this honor. This prestigious award recognizes individuals for their accomplishments in the field of medical imaging.
“Recipients of this award have made significant contributions to the field of imaging research and have attained a level of accomplishment that ranks within the top 10% of academic radiology faculty nationwide,” said Stanley Baum, MD, chair of the Academy’s Distinguished Investigator Workgroup. All award recipients will be inducted into the Academy’s Council of Distinguished Investigators during a ceremony to be held in November at the Radiological Society of North America’s annual meeting.
