Grand Rounds: The Scientific Case for Expanded Lung Cancer Screening

Jared Christensen, MD, MBA, is vice chair of strategy for the Department of Radiology and director of the Lung Cancer Screening Program at Duke University Medical Center. He currently serves as chair of the American College of Radiology (ACR) Lung-RADS Committee and has committee appointments with the Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, Society of Thoracic Radiology, and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network.

Dr. Christensen received his medical doctorate from the University of Vermont College of Medicine with subsequent training in general surgery at the University of Virginia, diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Rochester, and a cardiothoracic imaging fellowship at Duke University Medical Center. While serving as division chief of Cardiothoracic Imaging, he obtained a Masters in Business Administration from the Duke Fuqua School of Business.
