Medical Students

The Department of Medical Imaging participates in medical student education both in Pre-Clerkship (years 1 and 2) and Clerkship years (years 3 and 4) including both didactic lectures and elective courses. Nine radiology electives are open to UArizona COM-T students in the Transition to Residency/ Clinical phase of their program. Fourth-year medical students from other academic institutions also participate upon application.

Residency

Department of Medical Imaging training programs include Diagnostic Radiology and both an Integrated and Independent Interventional Radiology Residency. The department’s residency programs educate the next generation of radiologists and scientists by providing the foundation for both academic and private sector careers.

Fellowship

Department of Medical Imaging provides advanced subspecialty training in both ACGME accredited and non-ACGME fellowship programs.
