Raza Mushtaq, MD, is a Facuty Physician at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson and Banner University Medical Center. Dr. Mushtaq received his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine graduating Magna Cum Laude. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Arizona, College of Medicine - Tucson. Dr. Mushtaq received his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine graduating Magna Cum Laude. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Arizona, College of Medicine - Tucson.
While a resident, Dr. Mushtaq received multiple awards including Excellence in Diagnostic Radiology (2020), Radiology Resident Teaching Award (2018 & 2020), Radiology Resident Research Award (2018), the RSNA Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award (2019) and the RSNA Travel Award for abstract (2017). Dr. Mushtaq participated in the AUR Radiology Resident Academic Leadership Development Program, became the RSNA UArizona Radiology Resident Representative (2016-17) and was awarded a Graduate Medical Education Resident Excellence and Leadership Grant.
Following his residency, Dr. Mushtaq completed a fellowship in Neuroradiology at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. He then accepted a faculty position at the University of Arizona, Department of Medical Imaging.
Dr. Mushtaq is a current member of the American Society of Neuroradiology, Western Neuroradiology Society, American Society of Emergency Radiology, American College of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, and the Radiological Society of North America.
