Ethan A. Neufeld, MD

Assistant Professor, Medical Imaging - (Clinical Scholar Track)

As a neuroradiologist I am dedicated to the appropriate application and interpretation of neuroimaging in our patient population as well as advancement of the field. I am a believer in involving patients in the imaging process and integrating radiology into the sphere of patient interaction as much as possible. I am a strong advocate for medical student and resident education and believe that radiology has an important role to play in the education of future practicing physicians, whatever their field. As the former inaugural Academic Advisor for my residency program I created an educational program for residents and medical students from the ground up. I was formerly a member of the RSNA Resident and Fellow Council where I took a role as a liaison with the ABR and worked collaboratively with other trainees across the country. During fellowship I focused my training and interests on head and neck imaging, spinal neuraxial interventions, and functional MRI. I am honored to be able to serve the Tucson area and intend to utilize my training to provide exceptional care to our patients in need.

Research Interests: 

Brachial and lumbosacral plexus imaging. Temporal bone imaging including pulsatile tinnitus. Resident and fellow education.
