Assistant Professor, Medical Imaging - (Clinical Scholar Track)

Usha Jayagurunathan, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medical Imaging in the Abdominal Imaging Division.  Dr. Jayagurunathan received her medical degree from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, India. She completed her Diagnostic Radiology residency at the MGM Medical College, Indore, India and successfully defended her dissertation titled, “Role of Magnetic Resonance Imaging in the evaluation of epilepsy.”

Following residency, Dr. Jayagurunathan completed three fellowships at the University of Arizona in Neuroradiology, Abdominal Imaging and Cardiothoracic Imaging.  She then accepted a faculty position at the University of Arizona, Department of Medical Imaging.

Dr. Jayagurunathan is a current member of the Society of Thoracic Radiology, Society of Abdominal Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, and the Radiological Society of North America.
