Why you may already have Alzheimer's Disease: Neuroimaging Clues to Causation

The Department of Medical Imaging is pleased to have Meng Law, MBBS, FRACR, presenting at our Grand Rounds on Wednesday, December 9th, at 12:10 pm in COM, Room 2117. 

Dr. Law is the Director of Neuroradiology and Program Director of the Neuroradiology Fellowship Program. He is also the Director of the Neuroimaging Core for the USC Alzheimer's Disease Research Center.

Dr. Law has had NIH funding study MRI in brain tumors, traumatic brain injury and Alzheimer’s disease. He has chaired the Research American Society of Spine Radiology. Dr. Law has been actively involved in numerous societies including the RSNA, ISMRM, ARRS, ASNR, ASSR, ASFNR and the ENRS. Dr. Law has served as the President of the ASSR, ASFNR and ENRS. Besides reviewing for more than 20 peer reviewed journals, he is also a frequent grant reviewer for the National Institutes of Health/National Cancer Institute, the American Cancer Society, Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation, the Welcome Trust, the NHMRC (Medical Research Council) and the Department of Health NHS (UK). He has authored or co-authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and 30 book chapters/books. He is an avid teacher and has given more than 500 lectures and presentations. Dr. Law has received a number of awards and was recently presented with the Distinguished Investigator Award from the Academy of Radiology Research, the Award for Excellence by the Society of Neuro-oncology (SNO) and the Outstanding Teacher Award at the ISMRM.
