Thu, 04/07/2016 - 12:00pm to 1:00pm

The Department of Medical Imaging is pleased to have Abhinav K. Jha, PhD, presenting at our Grand Rounds on Thursday, April 7th, in the COM, Room 3117, at 12:00 pm.

Dr. Jha is an Instructor in the Department of Radiology, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD. He received his PhD from the College of Optical Sciences at University of Arizona, where he was the valedictorian of his graduating batch. Dr. Jha's research interests are in the design, optimization, and evaluation of medical imaging systems and methods using task-based quantitative image-science approaches. A current focus of his research is on improving quantitative medical imaging, with applications such as in improving the reliability of quantitative imaging biomarkers for monitoring cancer-treatment response.
