The Department of Medical Imaging is pleased to have Prachi Agarwal, MBBS, presenting at our Grand Rounds on Monday, Januaury 25th, at 11:00 am in COM, Room 2117.

Dr Prachi Agarwal is an Associate professor of Radiology at the University of Michigan. She is the co-director of the Congenital Cardiovascular MRI program and the Ambulatory Care Unit Medical Director for the CVC General Imaging Service at University of Michigan. Dr Agarwal’s interest is cardiothoracic imaging with particular focus on cardiac CT and MRI. She has over 60 publications, and has presented at conferences nationally and internationally. She has received funding as primary investigator from GE-Radiology Research Academic Fellowship (GERRAF) Program and National Psoriasis Foundation and is a co-investigator on NIH grants. Her current grant (as co-investigator), “ Ac celerated statistical image reconstruction methods for X-ray CT”, focuses on advanced CT imaging techniques and dose reduction.
