Our People

We are very proud of our passionate, dedicated, and expertly trained team of interventional radiology faculty, interventional radiology fellows, radiology residents, nurse practitioners, technologists, and support professionals, whose goal it is to provide the most compassionate, patient-centered care using the most effective and minimally invasive means.

The interventional radiology team functions much like a surgical subspecialty team, offering outpatient consultations, pre/post-visit coordination, and inpatient care.   To better serve our patients, our comprehensive care team includes five IR Faculty who are American Board of Radiology Certified with Certificates of Added Qualification in Interventional Radiology; a neuro-Interventional Radiologist who is dually-appointed in Interventional Radiology and Neurosurgery; two IR Fellows; 2-3 Diagnostic Radiology Residents; 1 nurse practitioner for inpatient care and follow-up, pain management, patient education related to implanted devices, and assessing inpatient consultations; two Nurse Coordinator for primary outpatient care points of contact.

Our nursing support team consists of 12 highly experienced registered nurses, all of whom have previous intensive care, pediatric intensive care, and/or emergency department experience.  This team provides pre-procedure assessment and care, sedation, pain management, and immediate post-procedure recovery support.  This exceptional team also provides patients and their families with the patient’s discharge plan and education.
